Pets and Smoking do not mix with SoccerMarch 23, 2007 -- All School properties are banned from smoking, this includes the sport fields. We encourage a healthy sport allowing our children and young adults to open their lungs up to the clean open air. Please abide by the laws established. PYSA is also requesting that you do not smoke at any soccer event no matter what field your child's team is on, home or away. If you need to smoke, take it to your automobile. It is a persons right to breath and not be inhibited by having to inhale any type of smoke while playing any sport. Pets please stay homeA lot of us have pets that we love and cherish. We want them with us everywhere we go including the soccer field. The soccer field is not a good place for your pet, some days it is so hot on the field is barley bearable for the players, coaches and parents just imagine your loving pet. In addition to that pets are not concerned where they defecate and sometimes neither are their owners. This ends up being very unsanitary especially when the running child steps in it or the rolling ball rolls into the deposit. That child may then wipe the sweat from their forehead and well I shouldn't have to go any further with that one. Please have consideration for the children, young adults and everyone else going to enjoy the soccer game and please leave your pet at home.
Zero Tolerance PolicyMarch 24, 2007 -- Plymouth Youth Soccer Association supports the "Zero Tolerance Policy". All parents should receive the Zero Tolerance Policy guidelines from their coach at the beginning of this spring 2006 season. This policy has been adopted to protect the game and ensure that it is played and enjoyed by all who attend. If you have not received a copy of the Zero Tolerance Policy guidelines please write an e-mail to: information@plymouthyouthsoccer.com and let us know what team your child is currently playing on.
